A new collaboration between Shireen Abu-Khader and her colleague, Ethan Sperry, Ya Mahla SATB is built on one of the common modes in the Levant,Hijaz. The arrangement plays on the beautiful landscape. The ocean drum is optional, but would add a layer evoking the ocean’s mystery.
