Dozan World was founded by Dr. Shireen Abu Khader, a composer and music educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Oberlin College Conservatory, a Master's degree in Choral Music from the University of Southern California, and a PhD in Music Education from the University of Toronto. Her years teaching music in Palestine shaped a clear view: authentic Middle Eastern repertoire should be reachable for the teachers and musicians who want to bring it into their work, not locked behind cost or scarcity.
